Art & Dreams Bound in 2010!

It's amazing what a little rearranged furniture can lead to. I moved the desk in our office to the opposite wall, brought in my favorite chair, a side table & lamp, and hung a string of white lights around the double doors. The room has been transformed into a dream den. It's officially my favorite room in the house. I practically took up residence in there, perched in front of the computer writing away. It was bliss... I was camped out with creamy coffee, soft light and my favorite jams.
I'll be spending countless nights in this very spot, with this exact atmosphere recreated over the next 6 months while I plug away on my book. But this weekend, it wasn't my book I was writing... it was a another big dream I was focused on...
I finished writing the workshop description for the Art and Dreams Bound retreat that The Purple Cottage (Kelly Warren) is hosting. It is going to be an absolutely incredible weekend. I'm over the moon to be teaching. Kelly blew me away when she invited me to teach the debut retreat in April. Mark your calendars for April 9-11!
Kelly tells me that registration will be opening within the next week or so and there are only 24 seats available. Check soon for more details and registration information!
Oh, and in other news, I'm having dinner with my friend and mentor, Chris Cozen on Thursday. I love it when she's in town. She is such a source of inspiration! I love talking art with her. Her third book is coming out very soon and she is so knowledgeable about art and teaching.
Speaking of inspiration, have you seen what Chris and Julie Prichard are up to? Amazing!
Here's to a great week!
Mucho love and inspiration,
Carmen
