Monday Manifesto: Welcome November!

 digitally altered sketch

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I love you November.
I welcome you with open arms, an open mind and an open heart.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

November is a month for reflection.
For gratitude.
For looking ahead,
for planning.

I love November.

Last year, my birthday fell on Thanksgiving
and the night before, I sat and wrote my intentions
for the coming year.

This year, I've decided to spend the whole month in
reflection, gratitude, dreaming and planning.

2009 has been an incredible year!
Some of my wildest dreams were realized or greeted
with overwhelming acceptance.

I'm eager to look ahead and ready to take it slow,
enjoying every moment of the year to come.

What's on your Monday Manifesto?

I hope it gives you butterflies in your stomach and puts a smile on your face!

xo,

Carmen

Beautiful art Carmen! I have never had a love affair with November, even though it is my birth month...I've made a promise to myself to find more joy and more beauty in November!

November is a special month for me. I first gave birth in the month of November. I
t is a thankful month and a grateful month. Thankful for the harvest and grateful for the much needed relief from the summer heat. This is a very inspirational post. I do hope you will look back and reread it now andthen. You should indeed have a delightful month.

I love your altered sketch. Very cool. I hope this coming year is as wonderful for you as 2009 has been. I'm so glad you stopped by and said hi on my blog so I could come visit yours. I too welcome November with open arms. Autumn is such a cozy month. It brings to mind, spicy colors, candle light flickering, slippers, soft throws, pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice frappucinos. Yum!
Xo,
Tammy

Hey, girl! I love the fall in general, but November especially, for all the reasons you mentioned. I started my introspection and planning for 2010 in October and am very excited about what must lie ahead for me. I'm excited for you, too! I can't wait to get to town and pick up my issue of Artfull Blogging, and see your write-up!

Here's to an amazing 2010!

Hmmmmm......I suppose I'm not nearly as reflective on a Monday morning.............or Friday, as today is, for that matter. But, I love the idea of using November or your birthday month for this. I'm always too wiped out after Christmas to do that before the New Year (well....I used to do it all the time, but then after kidlets, find it happens less and less for myself and more for them.....thankfully, blogging, and visiting other talented and creative bloggers is helping me begin again for myself!).

This is my first visit here. I came by way of Mary and her Working Projects. :>
