My Mondo Beyondo Dreams and Intentions

"Yesterday is history,
tomorrow is a mystery,
but today is a gift.
That is why it's called the present."
-Master Oogway
The past 12 months had more high points than I ever could have imagined...
A year ago, I sat and wrote my intentions for the coming year and I wondered what it would take to make some of my dreams reality. I decided that even if I didn’t know exactly what to do, I had to begin. And so begin I did, and it paid off bigger than I thought possible.
We moved into our new home in December and in January and February, my home studio started coming together. Early in the year, I did everything from paint really big, to learn image transfers and managed to have a few creative breakthroughs.
I had my first expo in April and I launched a really big dream. My tribe had a growth explosion which became the TCWAA in June and in July, the Spill It Online Workshop was dreamed up. I quickly realized it was much bigger than just a workshop and in August, it became a book proposal.
The proposal was accepted in September and in October, the online workshop launched. That dream that launched in April was realized in November when my artwork and blog were featured in the Winter Issue of Artful Blogging magazine.
And that brings us back to November, the present. This month, I teamed up with a friend to launch a shared dream... one that you can join us for in the spring, the Art & Dreams Bound retreat. Registration is open and seats are limited. Kelly and I would love for you to join us!

I’ve put a great deal of thought into the dreams I plan to send out into the Universe for the coming year and beyond, and I plan to continue to do so. To help me accomplish the task of dreaming bigger than I thought possible, I’ve signed up for the Mondo Beyondo e-course that starts in January. I've heard so many wonderful comments about Jen and Andrea and the e-course feedback is overwhelmingly positive.
I’m really looking forward to 2010 and all the possibilities it holds!
In the works already...
- All that goes into writing my book; from going through the process of working with my contributors to creating art and developing the content that will become my manuscript.
- The Art & Dreams Bound retreat in May at The Purple Cottage.
My Mondo Beyondo dreams and intentions for 2010 include (but are in no way limited to):
- Share my dreams and my vision through my writing. (blog, articles and books)
- Meet more big dreaming artists and writers locally and get together for art and dream dates.
- Express my dreams and my vision through my art and share it online, in publications, at expos and collaborative shows.
- Seek out and participate in creative collaborations with artists I connect with and whose work I adore.
- Sell out the Art & Dreams Bound retreat.
- Teach at national and international soul nourishing art retreats.
- Learn about licensing.
- Have my art and writing featured in Cloth Paper Scissors, Somerset Studio, Art Journaling, Artist Café, Digital Studio and Somerset Workshop magazines.
- Pursue art, writing and teaching combined as a passion filled career and as my sole source of income, making x dollars per year.
Dream Big! Really, really big!
Mmmwhaaa,
Carmen
