Out of the blue clear sky...

I'm painting in blues tonight.  Taking inspiration from a journal page I did months ago.

Although my day didn't go as planned, it has turned out to be a wonderful day! I had a sick little girl all through the night last night and unfortunately, she wasn't able to make it to her softball opening day.  My little man, on the other hand, was raring to go this morning.  Here he is getting ready to head to second.

I didn't get to meet up with Michelle afterall today.  I'm bummed, but with our sick kiddo and busy baseball day, we had to rearrange our schedule a bit.  But, on the bright side, now I have another excuse to try to get to NYC at some point in the near future!

Off to hit my art journal for a while.
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Mucho love,

Carmen

That is a very serene shade of blue. Love it.

I LOVE this baseball picture and how you blurred out the outside of it and focused in on the activity! Wonderful!
