In the beginning
Tuesday, March 2, 2010 at 11:39PM
In the beginning,
I created a visual journal from
a watercolor Moleskine,
watercolored pages
& a few bits of collage.
For those of you that asked how I created the journal pages from Monday's post, this is how they started.
Then I've been adding images via collage and image transfers and randomly distressing, painting, stamping, scraping, sanding, scratching and anything else that feels right. Total labor of love.
Mucho love,
Carmen

really beautiful tones of red.
Did you watch "This is it"? I am totally entranced by that movie.. Several times when MJ is speaking to his crew, he tells them, "It's all for love. L. O. V. E." I say that all the time now... Your post reminded me of that.

Sorry for the double post, I also meant to say yes, we should get together sometime. Maybe meet up in downtown Stuart or something. Have a great day...

I love the distressed finish and the muted tones. I've never done any art journaling, but I'm really inspired by you and Elke ... hm...
